Penalties do not wait
MCA late fees run at ₹100 per day, per form, with no cap. GST filings carry their own late fees and interest. A client who replies a week late is not a small delay — it is a running meter, and it lands on the firm’s reputation.
Metiq builds every client’s compliance calendar, then its AI goes to work: document intake on WhatsApp that classifies and extracts what clients send, notices read and registered with their response deadlines, chasing that runs itself, and a research assistant that answers your team’s questions with cited sources. Your team gets ready-to-file packets — partner time goes to review, not reminders.
Clients need no new app and no login. Everything happens in the WhatsApp chat they already use.

The problem
Every month, the same three failures repeat across a firm’s client base — and each one is billed by the day.
MCA late fees run at ₹100 per day, per form, with no cap. GST filings carry their own late fees and interest. A client who replies a week late is not a small delay — it is a running meter, and it lands on the firm’s reputation.
The reminder work is manual and endless: who has sent what, who promised it by evening, who needs a call instead of a message. Skilled staff spend their best hours as a follow-up desk.
Invoices arrive as photos in one chat, PDFs in another, a few by email, some on paper at the office. By filing day, nobody can say with confidence what is actually in hand.
How it works
Client profiles drive a rules engine across GST, MCA/ROC and TDS: due dates, periods, extensions and penalty exposure are computed per client — and re-computed when a circular moves a date.
Clients get a clear document list on WhatsApp, in English or Hindi, with reminders as the date approaches and a final escalation on the due day. Every send and reply is logged.
Photos and PDFs sent in the chat are classified and read by AI — invoices, statements, financials, notices — with the key figures extracted and checked off against that filing’s checklist. Oversize files are held with clear options, never silently dropped.
Workpapers and portal-ready files for supported forms, with every figure traceable to its source document. Your team reviews, and files on the portal with confidence.
Two assistants, strictly separated
Both are Metiq: one serves your staff, the other serves your clients. They never mix data, and neither of them guesses.
Ask about due dates, penalties, rule changes and what a new circular does to your client list — on WhatsApp or in the console.
Clients ask the questions they currently call your office for — and get instant, factual answers from live filing data.

The common platform
CA, CS or Combo — the core is the same, and firms that do both run one book on it, not two subscriptions.
About Metiq
Metiq is the AI compliance OS built for India’s chartered accountancy (CA) and company secretarial (CS) firms. It maintains every client’s compliance calendar across GST, MCA/ROC, TDS and income tax, chases documents on WhatsApp, fetches GST portal reports into a per-client vault, prepares workpapers and ready-to-file packets, and answers the firm’s questions — and its clients’ status questions — from live records and cited sources. Metiq prepares, checks and chases; the firm reviews and files on the government portals.
The vault
Filing starts with the portal’s own numbers. Metiq fetches them for you, keeps every report in a per-client vault, and — only when a client asks — holds their portal login the way a custodian should.
On the Reports page, tick what is missing — GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 — and the download helper, a small browser add-on, fetches the reports from the GST portal for you. It works through your own signed-in portal session, in your browser: no stored passwords, no one else’s login, nothing to hand over.
Every fetched report — and any your team uploads by hand — lands in that client’s report vault: per registration, per period, with its version history kept. The Reports page reads as one coverage view across the whole client book, so “do we have March’s 2B?” is a glance, not a search through downloads folders and chat threads.
Some clients ask their firm to keep their GST portal login. Those live in the credential vault: stored encrypted, with an optional record of the client’s instruction, and every save and reveal is audit-logged. A partner can delete a login at any time — or shred the whole vault, after which the stored logins are unrecoverable, by design. Downloads never touch it: the helper works through your login, not theirs.
Security & trust
Metiq is designed so that a firm’s data stays that firm’s data — structurally, not by policy promises.

FAQ
A lot — deadlines and workload, one client’s status and history, the documents you are chasing, GST report checks and invoice reconciliation, DSC expiry, penalties and extensions, 70+ how-to guides and cited circulars for your team; filing status, documents owed and filed reports for your clients on WhatsApp. The full, section-by-section list is on the Asking Metiq page.
In the current release, Metiq prepares workpapers and portal-ready files for supported forms, and your team reviews and submits on the portal. That review step is deliberate — a partner or article should never be surprised by what was filed in the firm’s name.
No. Clients receive document requests, reminders and status answers on WhatsApp, and reply in the same chat with photos or PDFs. There is no client app, login or password.
Client messages are available in English and Hindi. Metiq understands questions in English and Hinglish, and AI document intake reads documents across Indian languages.
No. Status answers are given only to the one WhatsApp number your firm registered for that client, and only ever show that client’s own filings.
The console shows usage against every limit (clients, WhatsApp messages, document pages). When a meter is exhausted, sends or processing on that meter pause until the next cycle or a plan change — nothing is silently dropped, and held documents stay visible to your team.
Two doors, one vault. On the Reports page, tick the reports that are missing for a client and period — GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 — and the download helper, a small browser add-on, fetches them from the GST portal through your own signed-in session and files them into that client’s report vault. Or upload the report files yourselves, the way you download them today; they land in the same vault. Either way, the Reports page shows coverage at a glance: which periods are in hand, and which are still missing.
Yes. On a client’s Reports tab, choose “Download in bulk”, tick the report types you want — several at once, or “Select all” to tick every type in one click — and pick the months: the current financial year, the last 1 year, or any one financial year back to FY 2017–18. The helper fetches the whole set in one go through your signed-in portal session. Reports already in the vault are skipped, periods the client never filed are reported as “not filed” rather than failed, and if a run is interrupted you resume where it stopped — nothing is downloaded twice.
Yes. Open the client’s Reports tab and run the return checks for a month: Metiq compares the GSTR-1 against the GSTR-3B (sales and tax) and the ITC claimed in the 3B against the suppliers’ reported invoices in the GSTR-2B, using the reports already in the vault — the 3B as its portal data (JSON) download. Each check answers in plain words — matches, or the exact difference and what usually causes it — and you can export the check as a workpaper (Excel or PDF) for the client’s file. The checks are read-only and summary-level: they never change a filing. For invoice-by-invoice matching, use Invoice reconciliation on the same tab (next question).
Yes — Invoice reconciliation, on the client’s Reports tab under the return checks. Import the month’s purchase register (exported from Tally, BUSY or a spreadsheet, or our template): a dry run maps the columns and validates every row before anything is saved. Then run the reconciliation and read the buckets: invoices that matched, invoices with value differences (field by field), invoices in the 2B but not in your books (ITC not yet booked), invoices in your books but not in the 2B (ITC at risk until the supplier reports them), and possible matches that look like the same invoice with a typo. Clicking a number in the summary jumps to that bucket’s invoices. Export the reconciliation as an Excel or PDF workpaper, and export the at-risk invoices as a vendor follow-up list, grouped by supplier, ready to chase. It is read-only — it never changes a filing — and a month whose 2B is missing or only a summary PDF is named and excluded, never silently skipped.
Only if you ask us to — and report downloads never need them: the download helper works through your own portal login, so no stored password is involved in a download at all. Separately, when a client asks your firm to hold their portal login, you can keep it in the credential vault: stored encrypted, with an optional record of the client’s instruction, and every save and reveal is audit-logged. A login can be deleted at any time, and a partner can shred the entire vault — the stored logins are then unrecoverable, by design.
Every price is exclusive of GST; 18% GST is added on the invoice. On monthly billing, a single-practice Solo bills at ₹799 + ₹143.82 GST = ₹942.82/month, a single-practice Firm at ₹2,499 + ₹449.82 GST = ₹2,948.82/month, Combo on Solo at ₹999 + ₹179.82 GST = ₹1,178.82/month, and Combo on Firm at ₹2,999 + ₹539.82 GST = ₹3,538.82/month. On upfront terms (six months charged as five, twelve as ten), the first-term totals including GST are: single-suite Solo 6 months ₹4,714.10 · 12 months ₹9,428.20 · single-suite Firm 6 months ₹14,744.10 · 12 months ₹29,488.20 · Combo Solo 6 months ₹5,894.10 · 12 months ₹11,788.20 · Combo Firm 6 months ₹17,694.10 · 12 months ₹35,388.20. The Trial is ₹0 on every term. After the first term, renewals are at the standard price.
Yes — monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and run to the end of the paid period. See the refund policy for upfront terms.
An add-on for firms with a secretarial practice. It turns the drafting and meeting work that eats a CS team’s week into deterministic, checklist-driven output — one person does the work of three.
Deterministic drafting from fixed templates: resolutions, notices and minutes skeletons. There is no AI generation — what you get is a complete, correctly-structured draft to review and sign, never a machine-written filing. The professional still reviews and signs everything.
The full meeting lifecycle: schedule → notice → held → minutes → close. Resolutions passed in a meeting automatically spawn the filings they require, and director changes are stamped for the next stage — nothing falls through the cracks between the meeting and the filing.
Those come with the CS / Combo suite itself: statutory registers — including a firm-wide DSC register with expiry alerts — and MCA filing packets (AOC-4, MGT-7, ADT-1, MGT-14, DPT-3, DIR-3 KYC, DIR-12, PAS-3, CHG-1, INC-22). Studio is the drafting + meetings layer on top of them.
Firms on the FIRM plan, in the CS or Combo suite only. It is a secretarial product, so it does not attach to the CA-only suite.
₹4,999/month total — that already includes the FIRM plan — plus 18% GST. It is a flat bundle: no discount stacking, no per-client or per-meeting charges inside Studio.
No. It removes the repetitive production work — drafting skeletons, meeting paperwork, filing checklists — so one person produces what three did. Judgement, review and signing stay with the professional.
Event bundles, register propagation and certificates arrive as a Studio update after launch.
